This short gem is about Thoughts as the Seeds Planted In the Garden of the Mind.
“Suppose that you plan to plant a garden one spring. After you prepare the soil and remove all rocks, trash and grass, you are ready to plant the seeds. Will you not take particular care to purchase seeds that are fresh and exactly fit for your climate? You will also be careful to notice that you plant the correct seed according to the produce that you hope to harvest. You know that corn will produce corn, peas will produce peas, and so on. As the garden progresses, although you did not plant weeds, some will come up with the vegetables. A good gardener will pull the weeds out so that the plants will grow unhindered. So it is with your mind. Pull down the bad thoughts and only allow the good thoughts to be planted in the garden of your mind, because everything that is left there will grow.”-Francis P.
