You are leaving a legacy.
Legacy seems like a big word doesn’t it? I mean it seems like its associated with BIG stuff. The truth is that a legacy is anything that is passed on. So the point of this is that everyone is leaving a legacy of some sort for others. Your very existence is exampling for someone. A lot of people leave a legacy of what not to do with their God-given gifts and abilities. That’s not likely to be you, because people like you, who take time to read stuff like this, are making an effort to use their gifts.
So the purpose of this short post is just to remind you (because you probably don’t think about this day to day), that each day, your actions are creating a legacy for others. This of course would be in addition to a larger legacy that might come from applying yourself to a purpose that might help or impact other people. Here’s a little nugget for you to chew on:
“No individual has any right to come into this world and go out without leaving behind him distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it.”-George Washington Carver
