The Worst Fear is Regret

The Worst Fear is Regret

And eventually there will be less of what you believe you can’t!

This concept is so simple and basic that it’s easy to have it go right past us. Here is the truth (I was going to say idea, but this is a flat out truth), regardless of what it is that is in your heart to do, you have been given the innate ability to do it…otherwise it wouldn’t be in your heart to do it. This is just the way the universe works. We are not drawn towards things that are not in line with who we are. Period.

We are not drawn towards things that are not in line with who we are

This doesn’t mean that you will instantly know everything you need to know. It doesn’t mean that every aspect of accomplishing this thing will be in your strength zones. And it doesn’t mean it will come easy, especially if it is of any significance.

What it does mean, is that you will learn more quickly than in areas where your heart is not in it. It does mean that your strengths will be enough to get you moving in the right direction and will ultimately be enough to carry you over the top. And it does mean it will feel like it comes easier than other things you do in life.

So here is the lesson…You can already be assured that there will parts of the thing that you are attempting to do that you are not good at. Do not focus on that at first. Focus on how to do more of the parts you are good at. The Proverb says “A man’s gifts make room for him and bring him before great men.” (Prov. 18:16) This is applicable here. Do the part that you are gifted to do and do it with all you have. This will bring you positive results and lift your confidence. This lift in confidence coupled with the encouragement of the positive results, will make it feel easier to tackle the things in the process that you are not as naturally drawn to.

“A man’s gifts make room for him and bring him before great men.” (Prov. 18:16)

This will become a cycle. The more you do what you believe and know you can do, the more progress you will make, and the more you will be able to confidently tackle the things you originally believed you could not do. As a natural flow of events, the more you then overcome the things you at first believed you couldn’t do, using the power of doing what you can, the less of the things you don’t believe you can do, there will actually be. Continue this cycle long enough and eventually there will be nothing you believe you can’t do.

This is when your rocket will really be flying high. All because you focused on, and acted upon, the things you believed you COULD do. Boom.
