Anyone can build a successful business in any market once they have a model that is proven to produce a positive result that creates a surplus of financial results over an expenditure of resources.
In more simple terms, if you perform some type of action which creates profitable revenue for the cost of that action, you are in a position to grow something as large as you’d like, depending on the size of the market space.
Investopedia defines scalability as: A characteristic of a system, model or function that describes its capability to cope and perform under an increased or expanding workload. A system that scales well will be able to maintain or even increase its level of performance or efficiency when tested by larger operational demands.
Here’s how this relates to you and your unlimited potential to build the life of your choice….the process is immensely scalable.
The process is a simple set of steps, that you can take in a variety of ways, that are proven to produce a profitable outcome. For example, if you connect with 10 people who have need of what you have to offer, you are likely to involve 2 of them at some level. As long as your expenditure of resources is less than the profit returned from the 2, you can scale this as much and as high as you’d like.
Skills and talents are minimally scalable, because they can be limited by time. There is only so many hours per day that you can apply them. For example, I am highly paid for my time and expertise when I train a company, but there is only so much time I am willing to spend doing this. To scale this I have to leverage this such that I earn from my skill and knowledge when I am not physically present. When your return is replicable from one action, you have a way to add repeated revenue from one action. This is one of the characteristics of working with consumables in network marketing as they can return over and over from the initial action. This applies to sponsoring others who take action as well. In this aspect skills and talents in networking are not as limited by scale as linear business models because you can create leveraged, residual style income from one action.

Systems also create scalability. Gabi Steiner, one of the most successful women in the world in network marketing, quintupled the size of her already large business in just a few short years, through the introduction of a system that allowed people to plug into a structure, thereby creating massive scalability because the system allowed people to plug into something that was not so dependent on their initial skill level and have success. This has been done over and over by business builders in a variety of ways, in thousands of companies all over the world….finding something they can scale and then massively spreading it. The thing to be clear about, is that anyone can do this. Find what works for you and scale it up!
The biggest game changer in today’s networking field is technology
Technology is also massively scalable. The biggest game changer in today’s networking field is technology. It used to take me many hours of dedicated phone time to do what I can do in a fraction of the time today. The skills I had to develop to succeed are still great skills to have and are just as applicable in building an organization, but now, someone with minimal skill can go fast by leveraging the right technology channels. An example, is that while I have been writing this blog, I have been in multiple exchanges that have resulted in 5 appointments. This would not have been possible years ago, when it took focused, dedicated time on the phone to set an appointment. It would take me at least 2-3 hours to accomplish what I just did while I was focused on writing!
You are in the most scalable time in the history of the networking industry. You can effectively work at building your business any time of the day or night. Make sure you are in a company that is built to last for decades. Make sure you are working with products that fill a need and are high quality. And above all, regardless of what system or technology you are scaling, treat people with kindness and respect, and you simply have no ceiling on what’s possible.
