Think about this for a minute. You are standing on a plot of land that is yours for as far as you can see. You have just been ensured by a geologist or whoever does this, that there is absolutely gold in the ground.
What would you do?
I’m guessing you would get busy trying to find that gold wouldn’t you? Now, the challenge is that you have a full time job and a busy life in general. In addition, the geologist cannot tell you where, on this massive plot of land, the gold actually is or how far down it is either. And before you say, well he probably could tell you…go with me here, this is my story and these are the parameters! Oh, and one more thing, you don’t have a lot of money or assets so hiring a mining company is not an option.
You’d Probably Start by Trying to Figure Out How Getting the Gold Out Works.
In doing this you would find that in general, you have to move a ton (an actual ton, not a figurative ton) of dirt to find $10-14 worth of gold. You would also discover that the only way to get the gold is to sift through all the dirt. In other words, you have to remove the dirt to find the gold.
So the point is?
Three major points here.
- You would absolutely start digging in any way you could in any time you had.
- You would work a process that you could do over and over.
- You would judge your success based on how fast you could remove the dirt, since this is the only way to find the gold.
Well Guess What? Your Network Marketing Business is Exactly This.
You know that for every person that tells you “No” in some fashion, you are closer to the one who says “yes” and joins your business or uses your product. It’s not a question of will you find the people. It is only a commitment to dig through the ones who say “No.”
