If We Pay Attention, Children Can Teach Us a Lot About Success Principles.

Young children don’t naturally believe they cannot do something. They just try and try and try until they do it. This is exactly how you learned how to do many of the things you can now do. As you and I got a little older and were subject to so many influences telling us what we can’t do or criticizing what we say we would like to do, that we started to doubt what we could do. Before these influences anything was possible.

Unfortunate but True

One area where we can learn a great lesson is observing a child searching in a toy box for a specific toy. It doesn’t matter how many toys are in that box, the child will dig through every toy, one at a time, for as long as it takes, to find the toy. If the toy doesn’t happen to be in the box, after all the searching. The child will then start looking somewhere else. I bet you can remember a time where you’ve seen this.

What If You Were To Prospect With The Same Mentality?

The entire world is like a giant toy box. Only there isn’t just one of the toy you are looking for. There are countless of them. And there are even more of the toys that you aren’t interested in. They toy you are looking for is the person who needs and wants what you have to offer. It is simply a matter of taking the approach of the child and pulling out every toy to find the one you are looking for.

When you have this mindset, you are never concerned with the wrong toy. You just pick it up, set it aside, and reach into the box again. You have no emotional attachment to which toy is which. You have a singular focus to find the right toy. You go through the box as fast as you can.

This is the way to work your business. You are simply sifting through those that are not ready for your offer to find the ones that are. The more time you spend worrying about or fretting over the people who aren’t interested, the less time you are investing in finding the right people!

So Simple. So True.

In the video I give you an example that I first did on a stage when I was a whole lot younger than I am now! Fortunately, the concept is timeless! Enjoy it and feel free to share.
